OEB Rules in Favour of the CTA

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) rejected the objection Lakefront Utilities Inc. (LUI) filed with the OEB with regards to the Freedom of Information (FOI) cost claim of $72 made by the Cobourg Taxpayers Association (CTA). The OEB wrote in their report:

“The OEB allows the CTA’s cost claim related to the FOI request.

Lakefront Utilities Spins OEB Hearing Results

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has issued its final rate order for Lakefront Utilities Inc. (LUI) electricity rates.

LUI posted a summary of the recent OEB hearings on their website.
Northumberland News published an article based upon that summary.

The Northumberland Taxpayers Coalition Takes a Pioneering Approach to Fighting Taxes

A new countywide taxpayers group formed this fall in Northumberland announced today that it will be making its first delegation to County Council tomorrow.

The Northumberland Taxpayers Coalition (NTC) is comprised of The Port Hope Ratepayers Association, the Cobourg Taxpayers Association, The Cramahe Community Association and the Citizens Council for Hamilton Township.
