Innisfil is a municipality near Barrie where their Council determined that a bus system would be too expensive. They have contracted with Uber to provide an alternative public transit system. It is this type of creative thinking that we admire.
One major difference from Cobourg is that Innisfil does not currently have a transit system.
We wanted to thank Cobourg Police Chief Kai Liu for his efforts in focusing on supporting victims.

Defining the Assessment
We should be clear in what our goal is with this assessment.
We were very pleased to see the comprehensive report Barry Thrasher, the Director of Public Works for Cobourg, prepared for Council. We felt he deserved to be recognized and hope that the other directors will use this as a model in their reports to Council.
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) rejected the objection Lakefront Utilities Inc. (LUI) filed with the OEB with regards to the Freedom of Information (FOI) cost claim of $72 made by the Cobourg Taxpayers Association (CTA). The OEB wrote in their report:
