Barry Gutteridge, Director of LUI, has requested that the Town agree to an amendment of the 2006 promissory note of $7M with the Town of Cobourg. Most people do not understand this and would rather not read or think about it.

I am troubled by the tone of the article. Building a whole newspaper article on 245 people seems somewhat irresponsible at best and misleading at worst.
The Cobourg Taxpayers Association (CTA) today announced that Lydia Smith has advised the Board of Directors she is stepping down as CTA President and as a Director effective immediately. As one of the founders of the CTA, she has helped to make Cobourg a better place to live, work, and invest.
