Council held a public meeting on June 3, 2019 to solicit feedback on the planning process.
Although most peope are not interested in the process, when a zoning change comes up for consideration, it can become a real issue for citizens.
Citizens provided their input to the Town’s draft strategic plan through almost forty emails and seven verbal submissions. John Draper summarizes this feedback very well on the “Cobourg News Blog” and you can read it all here:

Although the Cobourg Taxpayers Association (CTA) did not provide any feedback, several CTA directors did submit feedback as private citizens.
In February Council participated in a two-day Strategic Planning session to create the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan. They are now embarking on their Public Engagement Plan to collect your feedback.
