I am writing with respect to Grahame Woods excellent column on the topic of a Question and Answer Period in Cobourg council.
Cobourg’s Public Engagement and Community Consultation Plan on the Town’s website states,
“We recognize that Cobourg citizens want to be kept informed and engaged with all aspects of the Town, and this sits well with us!
The Town is working hard to ensure that the way in which you interact with us and are provided with opportunities to give us input continues to grow”.
Surely immediately implementing a Q+A period would easily meet this stated objective?
